Compass Women’s Center is equipped to help students experiencing unexpected pregnancies and parenting while still in school. We understand that you face a unique set of challenges and opportunities when it comes to an unexpected pregnancy, and we are here to equip you with the information and services you need to make the most positive decision possible.

How much does an appointment at Compass cost?

All of the services offered at Compass Women’s Center are free-really, no cost, so you can get the information you need, no matter your financial circumstances. Unexpected pregnancy or parenting can be a challenge for anyone at some point, so there are no income requirements regarding receiving services.

Do I need to bring a parent with me to an appointment at Compass?

 All of our services are free and confidential, so while you are welcome to bring a parent, trusted friend or your partner, there is no need. You do not need to bring a parent with you, no matter how old you are.

What if I’m still on my parent’s insurance, but I don’t want them to know yet?

Because all of the services we offer are free and we are not a medical provider, there is no need for us to notify your insurance company about your appointment.

What if I don’t know what to do?

Its okay if you haven’t decided your next steps. The staff at Compass Women’s Center is experienced in regards to situations like yours, and we are here to listen and provide information about resources to help you through your next steps. This is a place of support and compassion, and you are welcome here, no matter what. There will be no pressure to sign up for services or come back. We will tell you about all the support and encouragement Compass has to offer and encourage you to make a plan and let us know how to best support you going forward.
