Compass Women’s Center is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization that inspires & equips moms to be brave and choose life for their unborn children.  The focus of our organization is on providing education and support to women who might be pregnant or parenting young children. The impact of our organization is changing and saving lives by serving, equipping, and encouraging moms to be the best they can be!

ABOUT THE PERKS:

 

FLEXIBILITY: Our office hours are Mon, Tues, and Thurs, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. We are family-friendly and flexible (as we can be!) with scheduling.

DRESS: Wear mostly anything you like to the office – we like the idea of “Smart Casual.”

ATMOSPHERE: We have a fabulous office atmosphere that feels like home. Our center is basically located on the Rail Trail. We are very close to the fabulous Waterfront/Wharf community, so there is good food close by!

GROWTH: Compass is a new-ish organization that has so much potential. Our team members are given support but also LOTS of room for growth, idea development, and training. Compass is all about its people, staff, and clients!


Executive Director

Compass Women’s Center is seeking applications for a full-time Executive Director.

The Executive Director is the key management/operational leader of Compass. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. 

Because the person in this role is the key organizational leader and a primary community ambassador, it is imperative that they are in agreement with the organization’s mission, vision, and philosophy. The candidate must embody the organization’s core values: Love, Respect, Service, and Humility. They must be able to explain these, as well as the organization’s Christian beliefs and pro-life position to callers and clients, staff, volunteers, donors, and the community at large. 

Compass is a pro-life organization and, respectfully, does not provide or refer for pregnancy termination services.

In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will:

  • Be someone who values all people, born and unborn, and the Christian faith. 
  • Embody the organization’s core values: Love, Respect, Service, and Humility.
  • Be able to work a full-time schedule consistently that is generally Monday through Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, with some evenings and weekends.
  • Be proficient in the MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role.

Summer Internship

 

Compass Women’s Center is seeking applications for a Summer Intern. **BEGINNING AS SOON AS JUNE 2021**

The Summer Intern is an important role of Compass. The Summer Intern assists the organization in growing and operating with excellence. As the Summer Intern at Compass, this person will get to learn and work on almost all areas of the organization over the short time of the internship. Some of the projects may include assisting with database updates, outreach, cleaning, and beyond. 

We hope all of our team members have passion for this organization and its mission. The candidate must embody the organization’s core values: Love, Respect, Service, and Humility.
