Do I need an appointment?
We encourage you to schedule an appointment so we can see you in a timely manner. If you are unable to make an appointment, we understand! Come on in and we’ll see you as soon as we are able.
How much will my appointment cost?
All of the services offered by Compass Women’s Center are free so you can get the care you need, no matter your financial circumstances.
How long does an appointment usually last?
Appointment length changes depending on the service you are coming in for, but you can expect to spend about an hour at our center. If you need more time than that, we’ll be there to provide it; if you need less, that’s okay too.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a trusted friend, family member, or your partner to your appointment! Emotional support is crucial and we encourage you to have someone come along with you if it makes you feel more comfortable.
Is my appointment confidential?
Yes! Every appointment at Compass Women’s Center is held in strict confidentiality to the extend of the law. No matter how old you are, your appointment will not be disclosed to anyone without your consent.
What if I don’t know what to do next?
It is completely normal to feel overwhelmed, confused, or uncertain about an unexpected pregnancy. We are here to help you as you think through decision by empowering you with information and available resources. You’re doing great! You’re online looking for information and resources. Keep going. Breathe.
Do you perform or refer for abortions?
Like many other health care centers and hospitals, Compass Women’s Center does not perform nor refer for abortions. Compass is not a medical center.
If you’re considering your options, please check out Compass. We do not have abortions services but we are here to listen and support you. Pregnancy is a gift but still… it can be stressful and overwhelming. We get that. We’re here.
